LTC William Casey Biggerstaff

Lieutenant Colonel Biggerstaff is a military professor at the Stockton Center for International Law at the U.S. Naval War College, where he co-teaches a course on the Law of Armed Conflict. In previous assignments, LTC  Biggerstaff served as a command legal advisor, a military prosecutor, and as the agency counsel for the Department of Defense and Department of the Army, defending their personnel policies and decisions in civil litigation.

LTC Biggerstaff holds an LL.M. in Military Law from the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's School, a J.D. with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, an M.A. with distinction in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and a B.A. with honors in Peace, War, and Defense and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
