Prof Katharine Fortin

Katharine Fortin is Associate Professor at the Netherlands Institute of Human Rights, Utrecht University and a researcher at the Montaigne Centre for the Rule of Law and Administration of Justice. She teaches international humanitarian law, international human rights law and is the founder and co-editor of the Armed Groups and International Law blog. Her book The Accountability of Armed Groups under Human Rights Law (OUP 2017) won the Lieber Prize in 2018.
