Prof Noëlle Quénivet
Dr. Noëlle Quénivet is Professor in International Law at the Bristol Law School of the University of the West of England (UK). Her scholarship focuses primarily on International Humanitarian Law, International Criminal Law, and Human Rights Law. She has extensively published on gender-based violence and children in armed conflict. Her most recent publication is Child Soldiers and the Defence of Duress under International Criminal Law (co-written with Dr. Windell Nortje).
She holds a degree in International Relations (Institute of Political Studies of the University of Strasbourg, France), an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law (University of Nottingham, UK) and a Ph.D. in Law (University of Essex, UK).
