Prof Hanne Cuyckens

Hanne Cuyckens is Assistant Professor at Leiden University College in The Hague. She teaches courses on sovereignty and statehood, international humanitarian law, and global security and collective action. She wrote her PhD on the law of military occupation, which was published as a monograph by Brill Nijhoff under the title “Revisiting the Law of Occupation” in 2017. Her current research mainly focuses on Foreign Fighters.
