Lauri Mälksoo is Professor of International Law at the University of Tartu in Estonia. He is member of the Institut de Droit International and of the Council of Europe’s Venice Commission. He is the author of a number of publications on international law, including the books “Illegal Annexation and State Continuity” (Brill, 2022, 2nd ed., open access) and “Russian Approaches to International Law” (Oxford University Press, 2015).
