Prof Camilla Cooper
Dr Camilla G. Cooper is a Professor of the law of armed conflict at the Norwegian Defence University College. She is responsible for teaching and training in operational law at the Command and Staff College and has done research on a variety of operational law topics.
She has a PhD on NATO Rules of engagement, self-defence and the law of armed conflict from the University of Oslo (2018), and a LLM in Public International Law from the University of Nottingham (2006). She has co-authored and is currently updating the Norwegian Manual on the Law of Armed Conflict, served with NATO in Afghanistan, and represents Norway in the NATO LOAC Task Group and on the Board of Directors of the International Society of Military Law and the Law of War.
