Michael Keoni Medici, preferred name Keoni, is a Major in the United States Army and a judge advocate that serves as an Associate Professor of National Security Law at The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School (TJAGLCS) in Charlottesville, Virginia. His prior assignments include: Administrative Law Attorney, Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Afghanistan, Trial Counsel, 18th Fires Brigade (Airborne), 82d Airborne Division, Fort Liberty, North Carolina; Observer, Coach, Trainer, Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Johnson, Louisiana; and Administrative Law Attorney, U.S. Army, Pacific, Fort Shafter, Hawaii.

Keoni graduated with a B.A. from West Virginia University in 2007, obtained his J.D. from the University of Richmond, School of Law in 2010, and his LL.M. from The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School (National Security Law Specialty) in 2020.
