MAJ Kevin S. Coble
Major Coble is an active-duty Army judge advocate and a military professor in the Stockton Center for International Law in Newport, Rhode Island, where he co-teaches a course on the Law of Armed Conflict.
Kevin previously served as the Group Judge Advocate for the Army’s 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. He has also served as a legal advisor within the Joint Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, NC, as a Battalion Judge Advocate in the Army’s 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Bragg, NC, and as a legal advisor in the Army’s 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY.
He has deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq multiple times and has advised on operations in the CENTCOM, AFRICOM, and SOUTHCOM areas of responsibility. He holds an LL.M. from the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, VA; a J.D. from the Western New England University School of Law; and a B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
