Kevin Hearty is a Lecturer in Criminology at the School of Social Sciences, Education & Social Work and a Fellow of the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB). Having obtained his PhD from the Transitional Justice Institute (TJI) Ulster University, Kevin previously held post-doctoral posts at the University of Warwick and QUB Law School. His research interests include human rights, victimology, political violence & memory studies.
