Tamer Morris is a Lecturer at the University of Sydney in international law. Tamer’s research is in peacekeeping and the protection of civilians in armed conflict. Tamer completed his doctoral thesis, from the University of Sydney, on the legal obligation of the protection of civilians in UN peacekeeping. Focusing on the Security Council’s mandate and legal ramifications of peacekeepers engaging in protection activities. Tamer’s current research is on a State’s responsibility to protect their civilians during an armed conflict.
