Dr Erin Pobjie is Assistant Professor of International Law at Essex Law School, UK and a Senior Research Affiliate at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany. She is co-Rapporteur of the International Law Association’s Committee on the Use of Force. Dr Pobjie is currently a Residential Fellow at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research’s Space Security Programme. Her recently published monograph is Prohibited Force: The Meaning of ‘Use of Force’ in International Law (Cambridge University Press, 2024).
