MAJ Nick Allen
Major Nick Allen is the brigade judge advocate for the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade based out of Fort Moore, GA. Prior to this assignment, Major Allen served as the chief of national security law for the 25th Infantry Division and U.S. Army Hawaii where he deployed extensively in the Pacific theater. Major Allen has also served as the command judge advocate for the United States Army Security Assistance Training Management Organization based out of Fort Liberty, NC, trial defense attorney at Fort Liberty, NC, battalion judge advocate for 2d Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) where he also served as command judge advocate for Special Operations Task Force – Afghanistan at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, trial counsel for the 165th Infantry Brigade and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney at Fort Jackson, SC, and legal assistance attorney at Fort Jackson, SC.
Major Allen possesses a B.A. in English and Classical Studies from the University of Florida and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He also holds a LL.M. in Military Law from The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, VA. He is a member of the bar of Maryland.
