MAJ R. Scott Adams
Major R. Scott Adams is currently an investigator with the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General.
Before serving with DoD IG, Maj Adams served as a U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate in a variety of roles. Most recently he was the Deputy Director at AF/JAOI, within the Air Force’s Operations and International Law Directorate at the Pentagon. His other assignments include Staff Judge Advocate at Task Force Liberty, Operation ALLIES WELCOME, two years as an exchange officer with the Australian Defence Force, and Staff Judge Advocate at the U.S. Embassy in Canberra.
Major Adams earned a B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University, a J.D. from Regent University, and an LL.M. (International Law) from the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate Legal Center and School. He is also currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Adelaide in Australia.
