Shadeen Ali is a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences graduate of the University of Adelaide. Her research focuses on the intersection between history, legal frameworks, religion and culture. She has worked as a Research Assistant within the Research Unit on Military Law and Ethics (RUMLAE) at Adelaide Law School, addressing Eurocentricity within international law and focusing on IHL issues within historic Islamic societies.
