Justinas Žilinskas is a Professor of Public International Law at the Mykolas Romeris University. Justinas Žilinskas obtained his law degree from Vilnius University Faculty of Law, and his PhD in law from Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuania where he currently teaches International Humanitarian Law. He was also a member of International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission (ihffc.org) for two terms. Besides his academic work, Justinas Žilinskas worked at Lithuania‘s Parliament Legal Office during EU accession process, worked in various government level working groups, National International Humanitarina Law Implementation Commission, etc. Justinas scientific interests and publications are mostly oriented towards international humanitarian and international criminal law, with the emphasis on Baltic States experience.
