Lieutenant Colonel Gavin Logan is currently assigned to the Stockton Center for International Law.

His previous assignments include the Joint Law Center at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California; Legal Services Support Section Pacific in Okinawa, Japan; The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School of the Army in Charlottesville, Virginia; Legal Services Support Section National Capital Region in Quantico, Virginia; Judge Advocate Division at Headquarters Marine Corps; Task Force 51/5 in Manama, Bahrain; Legal Services Support Team in Miramar, California; 3d Marine Aircraft Wing in Miramar, California; and Marine Corps Recruit Depot and the Western Recruiting Region in San Diego, California.

Lieutenant Colonel Logan is a graduate of The Basic School, Naval Justice School, Expeditionary Warfare School, Marine Corps Command and Staff College, The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School of the Army, and Air War College. He holds a BA in History with a minor in German from Auburn University, a JD from the Cumberland School of Law, and an LL.M. from The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School of the Army.
