Juan Felipe Idrovo Romo

Juan Felipe Idrovo Romo has held the position of Jurisdictional Constitutional Expert at the Constitutional Court of Ecuador since 2022. He advises constitutional judge Daniela Salazar Marín in cases related to international humanitarian law, public international law, and human rights, among others.

Juan Felipe earned his Law degree (summa cum laude and valedictorian) and a specialization in Human Rights from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. He has published book chapters and articles in indexed journals on international humanitarian law, human rights, disaster law, and constitutional law.
