Colonel Jeff Thurnher is a U.S. Army Judge Advocate currently serving as the Staff Judge Advocate for the 82d Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Originally from Woodbridge, Virginia, Colonel Thurnher completed ROTC at the University of Virginia. He served four years as a Military Intelligence Officer in Germany and Kosovo. After graduating from law school at the College of William and Mary, he has served in a variety of assignments as a military attorney, including as a Brigade Judge Advocate in Afghanistan, a NATO Legal Advisor in Germany, and a Military Professor at the U.S. Naval War College.
