Lindsay Freeman, JD, Adv LLM, is director of law and policy of the technology program at the UC Berkeley Human Rights Center. She led the drafting team of the Berkeley Protocol on Digital Open Source Investigations and manages the legal investigation team of the Center’s Investigations Lab, which supports external partners in building universal jurisdiction cases. She has provided training to numerous organizations on online investigations and digital evidence. Previously, she worked for the International Criminal Court, Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, and San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.
