MAJ Jon Griffiths
Major Jon Griffiths commissioned into the British Army, Army, Army Legal Services in 2007. He has predominantly worked as an operational legal adviser, including in the U.K. Ministry of Defence, where between 2014 and 2018 he worked within the operations directorate responsible for global response and crisis management operations. From 2018 until 2020 he was a military professor at the Stockton Center for International Law, U.S Naval War College, Newport, R.I.
He is currently a prosecuting officer at the U.K Service Prosecuting Authority and a PhD candidate at the University of Reading, where the focus of his research is urban warfare and the obligation to take precautions in attack.
