Lt Col Jon Griffiths

Lt Col Jon Griffiths is a legal officer with the British Army Legal Services and the UK exchange officer at the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School. Previous assignments include legal adviser (operations) at NATO SHAPE and military professor at the Stockton Center for International Law at the U.S. Naval War College. Jon has a PhD from the University of Reading. He has also studied at King’s College London (MA), Cranfield University (MSc), and the University of Wales (LLB). His broader research interests include private military and security companies, and the relationship between toxic leadership and criminal misconduct on operations.
