Revaz Tkemaladze is a Teaching Assistant at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva. He holds an LL.M. in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights from the Geneva Academy and an LL.M. in International Law from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In 2017, his team won the 2nd All-European International Humanitarian and Refugee Law Moot Court competition organized by the Law Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, where he was also nominated as the best speaker.

Revaz has interned with the Advisory Service on International Humanitarian Law at the International Committee of the Red Cross, where he researched legal mechanisms to enhance compliance with IHL. He has also worked as a Legal Adviser at the Litigation Unit of the Department of State Representation in International Courts of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, where he assisted in preparing observations on cases and communications before the European Court of Human Rights and United Nations Treaty Bodies.
