Maj Mehmet Çoban
Major Çoban is a Legal Advisor in the Royal Netherlands Air Force and a 2015 graduate of the Royal Military Academy. He has served at various levels of command, including the Joint Ground-based Air Defence Command, Royal Netherlands Army and Headquarters, Royal Netherlands Air Force. In 2018, Major Çoban deployed to Qatar as a Senior Legal Advisor in support of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve. Before commissioning as an Air Force officer, Major Çoban studied law and received an LL.M. from Tilburg University.
Major Çoban works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Law where he will teach, inter alia, Law of War for Commanders (LW 474), participate in cadet summer training and co-direct events.
