Lieutenant Colonel Çoban is a Legal Advisor in the Royal Netherlands Air Force and a 2015 graduate of the Royal Military Academy. He has served at various levels of command, including the Joint Ground-based Air Defence Command, Royal Netherlands Army and Headquarters, Royal Netherlands Air Force. In 2018, LTC Çoban deployed to Qatar as a Senior Legal Advisor in support of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve. Before commissioning as an Air Force officer, Major Çoban studied law and received an LL.M. from Tilburg University.
