LtCol Peter C. Combe
Lieutenant Colonel Combe is currently the Branch Head, Community Plans, Judge Advocate Division, Headquarters Marine Corps. His operational law experience includes serving in the International and Operational Law Branch, Judge Advocate Division – Headquarters Marine Corps, and numerous operational deployments in support of conventional and special operations in multiple Combatant Commands. LtCol Combe served in the Joint Special Operations Command Office of the Staff Judge Advocate from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that LtCol Combe was the Command Judge Advocate, Marine Corps Intelligence Activity. In addition, LtCol Combe’s previous assignments include both trial and defense counsel billets; Staff Platoon Commander, Marine Corps Officer Candidate School; and he has been designated a MAGTF Operational Planner.
LtCol Combe holds the following degrees: B.S., Cornell University (2003), J.D., University of Houston (2008), LL.M., Army Judge Advocate General’s School (2014), Masters of Military Studies, Marine Corps University Command & Staff College (2021), Masters of Operational Studies, Marine Corps School of Advanced Warfighting (2022).
