Prof Alison Bisset
Dr. Alison Bisset is Associate Professor in International Human Rights Law at the University of Reading, UK. Her scholarship focuses primarily on transitional justice, International Human Rights Law and International Criminal Law and she has published widely in these areas. Dr. Bisset has advised government departments, intergovernmental organizations, national armed forces, and civil society bodies on issues relating to international criminal law and transitional justice. She is the editor (2014-) of Blackstone’s International Human Rights Documents, published by Oxford University Press. She obtained her LL.B. from the University of Dundee, her LL.M. from the University of Strathclyde and her Ph.D. from the University of Dundee.
