Dr Jonathan Kwik is researcher in international law at the Asser Institute in The Hague, Netherlands. He is specialised in the laws governing the conduct of hostilities and artificial intelligence. He obtained his doctorate (cum laude) from the University of Amsterdam, under the tutelage of Prof. Terry Gill.
He currently sits as a member of the Board of Experts of the Asia-Pacific Journal of International Humanitarian Law, and is an academic partner of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Before working at the Asser Institute, he taught international humanitarian law and public international law at the Soegijapranata Catholic University in Semarang, Indonesia.
