We are excited to announce that on Thursday, 22 April, Army Futures Command and the Lieber Institute for Law and Land Warfare will co-host a virtual event entitled, “The Future Character of Warfare and the Law of Armed Conflict.”
The event grows out of an ongoing partnership between Army Futures Command and the Lieber Institute. Earlier this year, the Lieber Institute participated in an Army Futures Command interdisciplinary war-gaming exercise focused on developing an operational concept for the 2035 battlefield. The 22 April event will continue that effort, focusing on the evolving character of land warfare and the implications for the law of armed conflict.
We hope you can join us for what promises to be a fantastic event. The event will be live streamed on Microsoft Teams, and will kick off at 9:50 AM EDT with opening remarks by GEN John M. Murray, the Commander of Army Futures Command.
